Had a fantastic couple of days in Jon and Daisy's amazing little shed and fell in love with Bristol with it's beautiful scenery and people. The shed itself is located in an amazing little part of Bristol which is very community led and so feels safe and welcoming. It was as described in the listing and has everything provided for a good, comfortable stay. Jon and Daisy are excellent hosts and strike a perfect balance between being friendly, helpful and approachable without being intrusive or nosey, were more than happy to give us some advice on places to eat or see during our trip and Wilf the dog is a friendly big ball of fur. We'll definitely be back!

An amazingly warm welcome, a beautiful space and everything we needed was provided at a moments notice! Wilf is gorgeous and friendly - we had a lovely night! Thankyou xx

Fantastic little cabin in a great area of Bristol. Daisy and Jon have decorated the cabin beautifully and it had everything we needed. Just a short walk into the city centre with some great bars and restaurants nearby. Daisy was there to meet us when we arrived and had some great local recommendations. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique stay in Bristol.

Thank you for a delightful and very welcoming stopover in Bristol. We are road tripping across the UK and your little slice of paradise in the most beautiful street in the city was a perfect Bristolian visit! We loved the shed and the garden and very much appreciated your help with places to see and a delicious breakfast hamper! Hope to stop by if we are ever in this lovely part of the world again. All the best! (from Australia)

Our night surpassed our shedspectations! it was so well considered and we loved the extra touches. The location was fabulous and the shed was so snug with everything you could want and more. Daisy and Jon were the perfect hosts and made us feel so welcome. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for an idyllic getaway in the heart of Bristol. Thank you so much for everything! It turned our weekend away into a mini holiday.

Best hidden gem in Bristol!
Natasha and Ben (July 2016)
Daisy and Jon's shed is utterly beautiful, tranquil, charming, and gorgeous! Everywhere you look are little details to make you smile and a comfy bed with delicious linen to fall into and watch the shadows bounce off the walls. A beautiful part of town too. We didn't actually meet our hosts but are sure they are as gorgeous as the hut!
Jessie and Andrew (August 2016)
Our stay was perfect - it's just the cutest place to stay. Every detail had been thought of, perfect location, perfect facilities, lovely family... if you're going to Bristol I can't recommend it enough!
Becky (August 2016)
“Easily one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had, reminds me of the olden days, before IKEA furnitured "hotel" apartments were legio, when people did airbnbing because they genuinely seemed to love hosting. Daisy and Jon's place was this, everything we expected and more. Located in a serene oasis just minutes away from the vibrant city harbour and the rest of amazing Bristol beyond. This was a 5 in every way.”
Frederik (August 2016)
Such a fantastic place to stay. Daisy and Jon were so welcoming and all their recommendations were perfect! We explored the whole city and even the beautifully wild Ashton court. Highlights included a beer at Hamilton house and a treat at the Wallfish Bistro in Clifton. The shed was brilliant - beautifully decorated with an epically comfortable bed. There was even some delicious coffee for the morning and a lovely shared garden in which to enjoy it in the sunshine!

Daisy and Jon were great communicators before our visit and during the visit... even down to a quick message saying they would be a little late for our arrival, but with easy instructions to access the shed provided. The shed is a quirky, comfortable and enjoyable place to stay and Daisy's breakfast hamper is definitely worth the £10 a head. There are some good pubs nearby (The Lion for amazing Burgers) and Prince of Denmark for a huge selection of Ploughmans) and The Shed is central enough to allow you to park the car and forget about it for the weekend. Would I recommend it for a two day break.... most definitely.”

In short: Incredibly charming, thoughtful, and cozy accommodations. We stopped at the Shed for a night during our honeymoon road trip through England. Perched atop a winding road in Clifton Wood, the Shed was the most carefully curated and meticulously appointed space we encountered on our journey. It's hard to imagine a more perfectly realized Airbnb experience. Upon arriving at the gate, we were greeted by Daisy and Wilf (their protective but friendly Labrador). Daisy gave us a brief tour of the Shed and provided recommendations for restaurants in town. In the Shed we discovered an unexpected honeymoon gift in the fridge, along with a custom blend of coffee (the Shed actually has its own logo and branded goods). Daisy has thoughtfully stocked the room with most everything you would need for a short stay, including a personalized guide to Bristol, a Bluetooth speaker, a comfy king bed, games, and a set of cook and dish-ware. After a brief nap we spent he night out in Bristol and returned home to find tea lights illuminating the walkway and a breakfast hamper at the door. Delightful. One word of caution: if you are traveling to the loo in the middle of the night, shoes and a torch are an absolute must--the path is dark and there are a healthy number of slugs that cruise the garden pathway at night. Also, you are visiting from America and are not used to the roads in England--they are particularly tight and steep around the shed, so do be cautious.

Daisy and Jon are the most welcoming hosts I can think of. Their little shed is super cosy and more than just an unusual alternative to other B&Bs or hotels. If you don't mind a small walk (10 seconds!) to your private bath room, go for it - you won't regret it! Additionally this is an excellent location for exploring Bristol, too. Stop for several bus lines is less than two minutes away. Plus the harbour more or less round the corner. If the weather's kind there is the fantastic option of having breakfast, a drink or a read en plein air in front of the shed.
Peter (October 2016)
'Daisy and Jon's shed is a perfect cosy hideaway. We stayed for 2 nights to explore Bristol and it was really well placed to get to the Harbourside or across to the centre of town. The breakfast hamper was excellent- recommended if you want to have a slow morning pottering about making toast and tea. Daisy and Jon were kind and thoughtful hosts, down to their folder full of things to do, eat and see. Nice to come across people that are part of the community and are advertising all the good stuff!'
Dev and Molly (October 2016)
“We arrived to find Daisy and little Indy ready to greet us, with beautiful big welcoming smiles outside their home and were immediately made to feel at home. The shed is a wonderful size - small enough that you feel cosy, but big enough that it's not in any way claustrophobic. It is clear that love, thought and attention to detail have been put into every single inch of the space and it contains everything you could want and more! We also thoroughly recommend the breakfast hamper, which was worth every penny and was truly delicious. Our hosts were the perfect balance of attentive while knowing just how to make you feel like you had your own space. They were easy to reach when we had any questions, left us to our own privacy to enjoy the stay, but, any time we did pass each other in the garden, or went into use the wet room and they were close by, we were also made to feel included and beyond welcome in their family evenings. The goodness and kindness of our hosts was truly moving, you really couldn't dream of a nicer family! And Wilf was absolutely great too - if you're a little nervous around dogs, we can reassure you that you don't need to worry at all, he is charming and not at all scary. The location of the property is stunning too, and hugely convenient for wandering into town...Though we had made plans for two very busy days, the majority of our time was actually spent in the shed! The bed is hugely comfortable, the shed was toasty and warm despite it being mid-November, and the space was so fun to be in, we really didn't want to leave. It gave me and my partner a chance to truly relax and spend all day playing board games (Scrabble and cards and few others handily stashed in the shed), talking, laughing, napping and relaxing. Just the perfect holiday weekend! However, we will certainly be back to explore Bristol properly, and there's no place we'd rather stay than in Daisy and Jon's delightful shed — a true home away from home!

I've enjoyed a delightful week and feel like I've lived in a magical little house in the Shire. Clifton is a gorgeous part of Bristol, full of secret gardens & cosy pubs. The shed is warm, stylish, close to nature and has everything you need. I want to take the bed home with me. I'll definitely be back. Daisy & Jon are the perfect hosts and Wilf and Indy made each encounter an extra delight. A gorgeous family and a beautiful space. Loved every second.
Jolie (Jan 2017)
Mega romantic place in a very cool area of Bristol and the greatest host ever. We will want to come back!
Josephine and Olvier (Jan 2017)
This is such a great place! It's secluded enough to feel quiet and chilled, but close enough wrap yourself in the city with just a short walk. The hosts are lovely and will make you feel right at home. I had such an awesome stay! The hosting, the accommodation, everything was spot on.
Matt (January 2017)
The shed is delightful; a tranquil, cosy space to escape to at the end of a busy day. It's centrally located but tucked away in a quiet street so you can have good night's sleep in the super comfortable bed. Daisy and Jon are wonderful, warm hosts who instantly make you feel welcome. This place is going to start a shed-craze, I want one too!
Hanna (January 2017)
I LOVE the Shed. As an interior designer I am super fussy about where I stay and the Shed exceeded my expectations. Daisy and Jon have created a welcoming, cosy, creative, extremely practical and peaceful haven from the bustle of Bristol. I have stayed twice now and intend to stay again and again - unfortunately though it's so popular it gets booked up! I cannot recommend staying here more highly. Daisy and Jon are the perfect hosts - so kind, helpful and friendly. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Bristol and it isn't booked you'd be mad not to!
Gemma (February 2017)
Come and stay in the best shed in BRISTOL!!!! If you are looking for a very confortable bed, lovely decorations, close to Clifton village and harbourside, plus staying with lovely people who enjoy being hosts this is the place for you! Daisy received us very warmly and welcoming from the first moment. They are a great couple who made our stay very pleasant. I missed not having the breakfast but it's something I will add next time!!! Everything was perfect, there is really nothing I would change; the pictures and location are very accurate! They have a lovely garden with some chairs I would have loved to enjoy in a warmer day. Don't look anymore....this Shed has everything you want plus an amazing host!!
Margoth (February 2017)
This place is absolutely delightful. Like nowhere we have stayed before! Everything is described so accurately, we were very comfortable. Lovely location, nice surroundings, loads of helpful information: Daisy and John were away during our stay but the instructions could not have been made simpler and they kept in touch with us which was great. Would definitely stay again and do not hesitate to recommend!
Leanne (February 2017)
“The shed is just magical. It is everything and more than the pictures show. Daisy and Jon really care about hosting, and it shows in the delicate details of the shed. The wooden dry-rack, the hamper and the beautiful locally sourced food, the game cupboard, the guitare, the shedmin folder with all the local suggestions. The purpose of our visit was a surprise birthday weekend away and the shed provided just the kind of romantic hide-away that we were hoping for. ”
Corrinne (March 2017)
An absolutely lovely little hide-away that I really loved so much I am reluctant to share this place with anyone because I would like it to be ALWAYS free for just me. Wonderful incredibly friendly hosts too. A huge bed in such an adorable bijou setting. Thank you so much for a very lovely stay. You have to be the most sweetest, loveliest and friendliest hosts I have met in a long while. I will recommend your wonderful shed (which seems a terrible way to describe it as it feels more glamorous than that) to everyone in an evangelical style! I am going to return again undoubtedly. My Indian food was so tasty and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Best wishes from a very happy customer xxxxx
Joanna (April 2017)
Amazing and unique cottage tucked away in the heart of bristols most beautiful neighbourhood. The hosts were so helpful and they thought of absolutely everything to make our stay comfortable and fun. I highly recommend ordering the breakfast hamper! We spent all morning lazing around in the sun drenched shed enjoying organic treats from Bristol and beyond.
Sam and Suze (May 2017)
Daisy and Jons shed is beautiful. Superb use of space and lovely attention to detail - they have thought of everything to make you stay stress free. Very friendly relaxed hosts and a great location Could happily move in as a permanent resident Looking forward to visiting again soon.
Jane (May 2017)
The shed is such a fab idea so cosy and feels like a real city retreat! We wished we were there for longer! Great facilities and lots of thought has gone into this place. Great hosts everything in the write up is 100% fair and accurate. We arrived late evening due to travelling down and this was no problem with the hosts and made things really easy for us. Perfect access to explore Bristol, couldn't have wished for more! A unique place to stay.
Steph (June 2017)
The idea of staying in a luxury garden shed close to Clifton Village felt intriguing when we booked. The experience was wonderful. As well as having everything we needed neatly packed in, and a delightfully warm and witty sense of decor and layout, there were unexpected extras - a guitar, a lovely garden, a friendly labrador, which gave an edge of specialness to our brief visit. I'd thoroughly recommend it for a peaceful, relaxing, and uplifting stay.
Paul (June 2017)
Had a really fantastic, relaxing stay at Daisy and Jon's. They make you feel right at home from the start and you're quickly incorporated into the household. The shed was amazing. It's homely, in a fantastic location and fun to explore! As a guest, it has everything you could want for, for example, milk for your morning tea/coffee, board games, books, electric blanket, extra blankets, the list goes on. I'd like to point out that I didn't use the latter two as it was scorching hot weather but it was good to know it was there! What really makes this Airbnb stand out is the hosts who have an uncanny knack of assessing your needs and going the extra mile to make sure they're met. They're full of knowledge about Bristol and are ready to give out recommendations; I visited 2 of the places they mentioned and regretted only that I couldn't do them all! To sum up, put this on your Bristol to do list. Ideally, I would have spent longer here but work calls. Thank you Daisy and Jon!
Sam (July 2017)
“Everyone should try the Shed and Breakfast experience, it is amazing! The bed is huge and comfy and there is everything you need in the mini kitchen to cook dinner or breakfast. Daisy and Jon have provided a folder with recommendations of things to do in Bristol too. It's in a great location to wander to the city centre or Clifton Village on foot. One night wasn't long enough, we will definitely be back. Thanks!
Lou (Sept 2017)
Honestly the loveliest place I've ever stayed! The shed was decorated beautifully, and incredibly snug and cosy. It really felt like a magical little escape. No detail was overlooked by Daisy & Jon- they had thought of everything you could possibly need, and we really appreciated small details like the folders which gave advice on things to do in the local area, the selection of herbal teas and the cupboard with games in! The bed was incredibly comfortable and warm, especially when we added the extra blankets and hot water bottle. The hosts were lovely and we very much enjoyed the company of their (very cute!) dog, Wilf. Not too far from the city at all, and the surrounding area was also really nice- we enjoyed exploring Clifton Village. We drove down and everything was sorted with the parking permits which was also really helpful. Such a happy place - would absolutely love to stay again, and highly recommend to anyone looking for a cute, cosy escape. I've not stopped talking about it since we returned home!
Kate (October 2017)
The space is great for writing. Lovely garden, peaceful surroundings and a great setting in Clifton village. The cabin is very cosy at night and works well in winter. It's probably the first time I was able to complete all of my deadlines. The hosts are super friendly and offer great tips for eating etc. The Lion for example was a great boozer. Will def visit again if possible. Thanks for your lovely hospitality. It was the right mixture of privacy and approachability. One of my best Airbnb experiences.

If you’d like a comfy stay in a happy home, book this place! We simply loved the shed experience. Everywhere you look, you’ll find something that makes you smile. Daisy and Jon built this place with love, and it’s very apparent that they enjoy hosting visitors from all over the world. Thank you again, Daisy and Jon. Loved, loved our stay— our first Airbnb experience! Such sweet touches in your cozy-cool shed. My only regret is that you’ve set up some unrealistic expectations for us from here forward.
M and D (August 2018)
The shed and breakfast exceeded my expectations!! It made my heart feel so full, lying in that beautiful bed! Unforgettable memories made, absolutely beautiful shed and beautiful surroundings, so close to the harbour and shops! Can’t recommend enough

This will hands down be one of our favorite spots along our trip. We booked the shed last minute and are SO happy we did. It's magically tucked away in an adorable part of Bristol and every space of the shed is bursting with whimsy. From the organic honey and bread to the book sized list of places to eat and roam to the heated blankets on the bed to the colorful pom-pom (Website hidden by Airbnb) was the coziest, most welcoming space we've stumbled upon. Daisy is a passionate foodie and will send you to the most amazing places to eat. We didn't want to leave the shed (!), so we ordered delivery from a place she recommended and it was delicious. We walked away so inspired and would stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you, Daisy and Jon!
Devon (November 2018)
The shed and breakfast is a little slice of luxury and the sentiment "it's the little things in life." I was thoroughly impressed with the warm and happy decoration of the place, the fabulous spot of breakfast, the cheery location, and the feeling that I was in a hidden sanctuary. It's an amazing spot to rest, write, and explore. If you're heading to Bristol, put the shed and breakfast on your priority list of places to stay. Thanks again, Daisy and Jon.
Marina (Feb 2019)
This is the best Air B&B we have stayed in - ever - and we have stayed in quite a few! It was so comfortable and unusual, and the hosts were just great. Everything was considered, even parking permits organised for us, advice, and everything we needed was there: organic bread, coffee and honey for breakfast was a bonus, as was the Dyson heater which we only needed very briefly in the morning as it was a touch frosty outside, but we were cosy warm. I really think this could be the best way to stay in Bristol. Everything was a very pleasant walk away. The car stayed parked outside for both the days we stayed. It was perfect. Thanks Daisy, Indy and the dog for being so kind to us without any intrusion whatsoever. Will definitely return!!
