A shed load of love from one of our guests!

Here is a review from Aliya who stayed with us in the midst of Winter 2016 and I was looking back through our reviews today and just thought that one is a proper cracker! I am going to unashamedly splash it about on the new blog! i love this job! x

We arrived to find Daisy and little Indy ready to greet us, with beautiful big welcoming smiles outside their home and were immediately made to feel at home. The shed is a wonderful size - small enough that you feel cosy, but big enough that it's not in any way claustrophobic. It is clear that love, thought and attention to detail have been put into every single inch of the space and it contains everything you could want and more! We also thoroughly recommend the breakfast hamper, which was worth every penny and was truly delicious. Our hosts were the perfect balance of attentive while knowing just how to make you feel like you had your own space. They were easy to reach when we had any questions, left us to our own privacy to enjoy the stay, but, any time we did pass each other in the garden, or went into use the wet room and they were close by, we were also made to feel included and beyond welcome in their family evenings. The goodness and kindness of our hosts was truly moving, you really couldn't dream of a nicer family! And Wilf was absolutely great too -

The location of the property is stunning too, and hugely convenient for wandering into town. We went to a concert at Colston Hall and wandered down to the cathedral and some restaurants, all of which were within a 20-25 minute walk! Though we had made plans for two very busy days, the majority of our time was actually spent in the shed! The bed is hugely comfortable, the shed was toasty and warm despite it being mid-November, and the space was so fun to be in, we really didn't want to leave. It gave me and my partner a chance to truly relax and spend all day playing board games (Scrabble and cards and few others handily stashed in the shed), talking, laughing, napping and relaxing. Just the perfect holiday weekend! However, we will certainly be back to explore Bristol properly, and there's no place we'd rather stay than in Daisy and Jon's delightful shed — a true home away from home!

Thank you for all the little touches - the fridge magnets on the door to welcome us, the postcard, all the love put into that space completely melted our hearts. You also completely blew us away with your kindness and support and each day you went out of your way to make sure we were having the best time, that we were feeling truly at home. We really did. Thank you for everything, we hope to see you again soon and wish you all the very best. X
