Daisy Bass
We started doing shed and breakfast in July 2016 and we love welcoming shed dwellers to our little shed in the garden of a city we love.  We met in Boston Tea Party in nearby Clifton Village and very much call Bristol home.  We bought 12 Ambra Vale South back in 2012 and built and moved in to the shed during a pretty dramatic renovation of our home which included taking off the roof, ripping up the floors and knocking down every single internal wall!!!! We revelled in shed dwelling and during the two years it took to rebuild our home, the shed became a wedding planning hub strewn with bunting and table centres and a refuge from the elements as two winters passed.  It also has special memories for us as during a hot summer when our son Indy was born and we set the shed up for various relatives to camp out in as they visited the very new Indy Jack Bass.  We loved doing it up ready for shed dwellers and have filled it with bits and pieces we think tired travellers will enjoy.  We love Bristol and especially Cliftonwood and really enjoy sharing our favourite places with our guests.

Jon helps run a family building company and I am now a full time mum to our little boy Indy who was born in July 2015.  Before I became a mum, I was working with vulnerable young people as a keyworker and I gained first hand experience of the harsh reality that there are many homeless young people in Bristol.  So, with this in mind, we decided to become hosts for the charity Nightstop alongside running shed and breakfast.  We save £5 from every guest's booking in the shed to help us host homeless young people in Bristol and provide them with a hot meal, a safe night’s sleep and breakfast the next day.  We are hugely grateful to our guests for supporting us in this venture.

Wilf

Wilf would like to add a few words

Hello I’m Wilf, I live in the house with Daisy, Jon and Indy but I like Daisy best :) I will bark when you arrive because I take my job as house and shed security guard very seriously, however I am very easily distracted with treats, balls, tummy tickles and the like.  I am not supposed to come in to the shed as I am very hairy but I may come to the door and say hello if you are nice to me.

Indy

And finally Indy has something to say...

Hi i'm Indy, and as you can see, I am very helpful and not at all a nuisance when mum is making your shed bed!
